Video captures destruction of College Park fire

WASHINGTON — Monday’s five-alarm fire at an under-construction apartment complex in College Park, Maryland cued the largest fire response in the history of Prince George’s County. The fire closed nearby University of Maryland as well as part of U.S. 1. It also caused an estimated $39 million in damage. WTOP news partner NBC4 captured video of the blaze’s aftermath.
