BALTIMORE (AP) — A popular deli on Baltimore’s “Corned Beef Row” is closing its doors after 26 years.

Media outlets report Lenny’s Delicatessen will close for good on Saturday and hand its lease over to the Helping Up Mission, an organization that serves men struggling with addiction, poverty and homelessness.

Lenny’s owner Alan Smith says he’s closing the shop to focus on other locations in Owings Mills and at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. He also sites dwindling business.

Lombard Street, where Lenny’s is located, earned its “Corned Beef Row” nickname from the shops selling Jewish specialties in the early 20th century. Once Lenny’s closes, Attman’s and Weiss delis will become Corned Beef Row’s last holdouts.
