New Nationals bobbleheads, other giveaways announced (Photos)

WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals announced Thursday its 2017 promotional schedule, alerting fans when they can line up at park gates to get new Nationals bobbleheads, action figures, snow globes and other collectibles.

The three new bobbleheads include the 2016 Silver Slugger Daniel Murphy, rookie Trea Turner and pitcher Tanner Roark. Other collectibles include a snow globe featuring 2016 National League Cy Young Award winner pitcher Max Scherzer, an action figure featuring Bryce Harper and a Nationals-themed magic eight ball.

In addition, the Nationals also announced its schedule of “theme nights,” which will include a ’90s night this year. New special ticketed events include the park’s first Easter Egg Hunt and a special Mother’s Day brunch.

Single game tickets for the 2017 season go on sale to the general public Feb. 28 at noon.

WATCH: Nats celebrate World Series with parade ahead of Spring Training opener in Florida

The Washington Nationals showed off their trophy from winning the 2019 World Series in front of their local fans in South Florida during a parade on Thursday, February 20. Spring Training kicked off recently, and the first preseason game is Saturday, February 22, against the Houston Astros, the team they defeated in the World Series. Before the parade started, Michael A. Taylor and Sean Doolittle mingled with fans, some of whom were wearing hats supporting the local Miami Marlins. However, the West Palm Beach fans showed their support, as players like Kurt Suzuki, Trea Turner and Howie Kendrick rode in cars and buses through the main streets of Clemantis.
