P-Nats job fair: 100 jobs to fill

WASHINGTON — The Potomac Nationals will hold a join fair at Richard Pfitzner Stadium from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on March 8 and have openings for about 100 wide-ranging seasonal jobs.

The P-Nats regular season starts April 13 and runs through Aug. 27. If the team qualifies for the 2017 Carolina League Playoffs, work could extend through the first two weeks of September.

The jobs are game-day jobs and include concessions, stadium operations and tickets. Work also may include nongame-day special events.

The team said the seasonal jobs are prefect for school employees, students, retirees and others who love baseball and are looking for flexible part-time work.

Pay is based on experience and position.

Most games are weeknights.

See a list of available positions on the team’s website.

Movie theaters are starting to reopen. Will anyone go?

For the first time in roughly five months, AMC Theatres will pop the popcorn, dim the lights, and start the show. But will anyone buy a ticket?
