2 die after Westfield Wheaton mall stabbing

WASHINGTON — Two men died after a stabbing at a Montgomery County mall Tuesday afternoon.

Two adult men were stabbed outside the Hollister store at Westfield Wheaton, located at 11160 Veirs Mill Road, around 3:15 p.m.

The victims were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, and both men died from injuries, according to Montgomery County police.

Police have not released any additional details, including the ages or names of the men who were stabbed. Police do not have a suspect in custody and it is not yet clear if the suspect knew the victims.
