WASHINGTON — A 13-year-old boy was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 95 Tuesday night. The Maryland State Police responded to a call about a disabled vehicle on the roadway near the Intercounty Connector/MD-200, in the area of Beltsville, Maryland, shortly after 9 p.m. They said a Dodge Caravan was approaching the disabled car when it was struck from behind  by a tractor-trailer, police said.  A Volkswagen was also struck following the first crash. The driver of the Dodge — Tamara Moskowitz, 45, of Baltimore — and her passenger, a 13-year-old boy, were transported with life-threatening injuries. He died at a hospital, police said. In the disabled car, driver Maria Chryssos, 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and passenger Anastacia Chryssos, 35, of Perry Hall, Maryland, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Volkswagen driver was not injured in the crash. Lanes were blocked until about 4 a.m. At one point, lanes were closed in both directions. State police  are still investigating the crash, but say there was no indication of impairment.
