Md. gymnastics coach pleads guilty to distributing child porn

BALTIMORE (AP) — A youth gymnastics coach has pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography.

Paul Daniel Bollinger, 57, of Windsor Mill entered the plea Monday in federal court in Baltimore.

According to his plea agreement, Bollinger distributed computer files containing videos of child pornography using a file-sharing program. In May, investigators raided Bollinger’s home and found digital media which contained over 40,000 image files and over 100 video files of child pornography.

Prosecutors say Bollinger worked as a youth gymnastics coach in Maryland for over 30 years.

Bollinger faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison at sentencing in March.
