Frederick police arrest suspect in double stabbing

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Frederick police have arrested a suspect in a double stabbing.

Police say Colin Edwin Lee has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment stemming from a double stabbing that occurred just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say officers were called to South Market Street and Carrol Creek Way for a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found two victims: one suffering from a slash wound on his neck and another from a stab wound in the abdomen.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Both are expected to survive their injuries.

Police say witness accounts and surveillance video allowed them to identify Lee as the suspect.
