Police: Man killed in DC shooting

WASHINGTON — One man is dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting in D.C. early Saturday, D.C.  police said.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of Kennedy Street Northwest at around 2:15 a.m. Saul Flores-Canales, 36, Northeast, was found with gunshot wounds and had  “no signs of life,” police said in a news release.

Another man was found at the scene with life-threatening wounds. Police did not identify this person but said he was at the hospital in critical condition.
