LUTHERVILLE, Md. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who was killed by police in suburban Baltimore Friday while officers were investigating a bank robbery.

Baltimore County Police said on Facebook that the man who was fatally shot by police was 33-year-old Oddis Bernard Colvin, Jr.

Police say Colvin was the driver of a car that officers had stopped while searching for robbery suspects near Lutherville on Friday. Lutherville is about 10 miles north of downtown Baltimore.
Officials say the car’s passenger, who was wanted for multiple bank robberies, suffered injuries that were not life threatening. Authorities say the men had earlier Friday robbed a bank about four miles away in Pikesville.
