DC Beer Week is back for its seventh year

WASHINGTON Some might argue it’s the best week of the year: D.C. Beer Week is back for its seventh year, and this year it’s bigger than ever before.

From Sept. 24 to Oct. 1, a number of bars, restaurants and breweries throughout the region will host tap takeovers, educational opportunities and food-pairing events every day of the week.

D.C. Beer Week founder Teddy Folkman and organizer Kathy Rizzo joined WTOP to discuss their best picks for this year’s events, and here are just some of the highlights:

  • Saturday, Sept. 24: Old Ebbitt Grill’s 4th Annual BrewHaha, 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
