MGM holds Atlantic City job fair for National Harbor casino

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The new owner of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is holding a job fair in Atlantic City for a casino complex that’s under construction in Maryland.

MGM says it is seeking hundreds of workers to staff the casino and lounges at MGM National Harbor, which is under development in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The job fair starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Four Atlantic City casinos closed in 2014 and it was announced last week that Atlantic City’s Trump Taj Mahal casino plans to close on Oct. 10, less than a month before New Jersey voters go to the polls to decide whether to authorize two new casinos near New York City.
