WASHINGTON — A fire at Tysons Corner Center was under control as of 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Fairfax County Fire Department. Crews were called the mall to battle a three-alarm fire after 6 p.m. It had originally been referred to as a “two-alarm” before it was upgraded. Photos posted on Twitter showed smoke coming from the mall. The AMC wing of the mall was evacuated, according to fire department’s Twitter account. Restaurants and shops in the area of the fire were “closed until further notice,” according to the mall’s Twitter account.

Seasons 52 and the nearby restaurants/retailers will be closed until further notice due a fire. Please check back for more information.

The fire department says the flames started in a restaurant on the ground floor, and spread to the roof. No injuries were reported.  WTOP’s Meg Hasken contributed to this report.
