Shooting in Prince William County wounds 2

WASHINGTON — Prince William County police were investigating a shooting that resulted in two victims in Dumfries, Virginia, on Friday night.

Officers responded to a possible shooting at 9:06 p.m. on the 1600 block of Fort Fisher Court, according to a news release from the Prince William County Police Department.

One shooting victim was found at the residence, and another person with a gunshot wound admitted himself to the Sentara Hospital emergency room shortly after officers responded to the call. Both victims were then flown to a local trauma center, police said.

No information regarding a suspect description was available Saturday.
