Fairfax Co. police seek missing man, dog

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police are asking the public’s help in finding a man who has been missing since Tuesday.

Kenneth Hirsch left a residence in the 1400 block of Kingstream Drive, in Herndon, Virginia, at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, along with his dog. He was reported missing Wednesday, the police say.

Detectives say Hirsch may be experiencing emotional distress and may have a gun. They say he should not be approached, but that if you know anything about where he is, they ask you to call them at 703-691-2131 or Crime Solvers at1-866-411-TIPS.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
