ATV fatal Md. crash victim wasn’t wearing helmet

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says a Baltimore County man killed in all-terrain vehicle crash last week wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed into a tree.

Cpl. Amanda Ensor said in an email Thursday that 31-year-old Josue (ho-SWAY’) Hernandez of Windsor Mill was driving an ATV as a guest on private property when he crashed Friday night near the unincorporated community of Rocky Ridge.

She says two other people were also riding ATVs on a tour of the property.

Ensor says there’s no indication so far that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
