WASHINGTON — Country singer Blake Shelton has experience judging on singing competitions, but this time, he judged food as he tried sushi for the first time.

Talk show host Jimmy Fallon took him to fancy Japanese restaurant Nobu to try various seafood dishes like sashimi, fried bait and jumbo shrimp.

His first reaction to sushi: “That right there looks like a human tongue!”

But his verdict after trying it: “The texture is … Play-doh. But, I will say this to you right now, man-to-man … I like that. I like how that tasted.”
