8 hurt, 2 critically, after crash in Prince George’s County

WASHINGTON — Eight people are hurt after a crash in Brandywine, Maryland Thursday night.

Prince George’s County Fire spokesman Mark Brady says crews responded to the crash around 8 p.m.

Brady six people have nonlife-threatening injuries. One person was flown to a hospital in critical condition, while another in “extremely critical” condition was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

All southbound lanes were blocked at Chadds Ford Drive as authorities investigated. The roadway reopened around 1:30 a.m.
