D.C. man’s body found on Montgomery Co. trail

WASHINGTON — The body of a 20-year-old D.C. man was found in the Briggs Chaney area of Montgomery County late Friday night and police are investigating his death as a homicide.

A passer-by discovered the remains of Sheldon Williams, of Southeast, on a trail off Castle Boulevard. Montgomery County police say Williams had suffered some sort of trauma to his upper body but have not said how he died.

Anyone with information about Williams’ death is asked to call investigators at 240-773-5070.
