Tree hits, kills construction worker in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — A man died after he was hit by a falling tree at a construction site in Prince George’s County Thursday afternoon.

A tree removal was taking place at a construction site in the 5000 block of Yorkville Road in Temple Hill, Maryland, when one of the trees fell and struck a construction worker Thursday afternoon, says  Prince George’s County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officials have not released the man’s identity or any other information in the case.
