Metro’s Blue, Orange, Silver lines single tracking

WASHINGTON – Metro riders may experience some delays on the Blue, Orange and Silver lines Friday after a person intentionally stepped on the tracks.

Metro says a person was struck by a Metro train at the L’Enfant Plaza station at about 6:15 p.m. Metro says it was a suicide attempt.

The investigation is causing the Blue, Orange and Silver lives to single track between Federal Center and Smithsonian stations.
