WASHINGTON — After 110 years, Flossie Dickey cannot be bothered.

Dickey, who lives in Cheney, Washington, was recently interviewed by a Spokane TV station, and the clear expectation was that she would be predictably adorable in her dotage.

Not even: Dickey clearly can’t be bothered with the attention, ignores a couple of questions and looks on several occasions like she’s ready to throw her coffee in the reporter’s face. When asked whether she’s looking forward to her birthday celebration, she deadpans, “Not one bit.”

A woman who works at the senior center where Dickey lives says that the “supercentenarian” is a jokester who likes to “have some whiskey straight up.”

For herself, Dickey says that she naps as frequently as possible, and, asked for her secret to a long life, replies, “I don’t know. I don’t fight it; I live it.”

Because when you’re 110, you can’t help being cool.
