1 suffers life-threatening injuries in Fairfax accident

WASHINGTON – One person is fighting to stay alive after an accident in Fairfax City in the early hours of Friday.

The accident happened just before 3:30 a.m. at Main Street and Fairfax Boulevard, before the Kamp Washington streetlight.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews brought one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear at this point how many cars were involved or whether anyone else was hurt.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
