Bean bag chairs recalled due to suffocation risk

WASHINGTON — A brand of bean bag chairs are being recalled because of the risk of suffocation or choking on the beads.

Ace Bayou is recalling its bean bag chairs because it says “the zippers on the bean bag chairs can be opened by children who can then crawl inside, get trapped and suffocate or choke on the bean bag chair’s foam beads.”

Two children have died after such incidents.

If you have the bag, call Ace Bayou toll-free at 855-571-8151 or go to its website.
