Tickets for Adele’s D.C. shows go on sale Thursday

WASHINGTON — Adele announced a 56-night North American tour for 2016, including two shows at Verizon Center in D.C. and tickets for the show go on sale Thursday morning.

Adele’s third album, “25,” including the song “Hello,” is at or near the top of music charts.

Tickets for Verizon Center shows on Oct. 10-11 go on sale Thursday through Adele’s website or on Ticketmaster beginning at 10 a.m.

On Ticketmaster, ticket prices range from about $40 to about $150.

Her first North American tour in five years begins July 5, and includes six-show stands at Madison Square Garden in New York City and Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“Adele Live in New York City,” and hour-long concert recorded in November at Radio City Music Hall airs this evening on NBC.
