D.C. police ask for help finding missing 14-year-old

WASHINGTON — Police in D.C. are asking for help finding a missing 14-year-old boy.

According to police, Patrick Lake was last seen around 3 p.m. Monday in the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, near Benning Road, Northeast.

Lake is described as standing 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing 163 pounds. Police say he has black hair with a high-top fade, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, tan pants and white shoes, and was carrying a silver backpack.

Anyone with information on Lake’s whereabouts should call D.C. police at 202-727-9000, the Youth and Family Services Division at 202-576-6768 or 911.
