Police say 42-year-old Gavin Anthony Otto, a Derwood resident, assaulted two women in a nearly four-month span at the Red Door Spa in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg, Maryland.

On July 7, a 32-year-old woman told police Otto sexually assaulted her during a massage at the spa. Also, on Nov. 17, a 37-year-old told police Otto inappropriately touched her during a massage at the same spa.

Police arrested Otto at his home on Dec. 2 and charged him with one count of second-degree sex offense and one count of fourth-degree sex offense.

He was transported to the Central Processing Unit and was released after posting a $20,000 bond.

Detectives say they believe Otto may have sexually assaulted additional victims at the spa in his role as a masseur.

Anyone who believes he or she has been a victim or has additional information about inappropriate contact by Otto can call police at 240-773-5050.
