Coldplay features clip of Obama singing on new album

WASHINGTON — British rockers Coldplay are set to release a new album on Dec. 4, and they’ve sampled a very famous voice on one of the tracks.

The album is titled “A Head Full of Dreams,” and it will feature a small snippet of President Barack Obama singing a well-known hymn.

Obama closed his eulogy for Pastor Clementa Pinckney, a victim of the Charleston church shootings, with an emotional rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’.

Coldplay frontman told UK newspaper The Sun that they’ll be including the audio clip because of “the historical significance of what he did.”
