Police seek driver in school bus hit-and-run

WASHINGTON — Police are searching for a driver who hit a Prince George’s County school bus and then fled the scene Monday morning.

A car collided with the bus near the intersection of Oxon Hill Road and Clipper Way at about 10:45 a.m. After the crash, the driver left the scene on foot, says a Prince George’s County police spokesperson.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. The school bus driver was not injured, police say.

It is not yet clear which school system used the bus.
