Search still on for missing District Heights woman

UPDATE: Police officers are still looking for Lisa Renee Wyche, who has been missing since Halloween night.

She was last seen near the Baltimore Washington Parkway and Route 197.  United States Park Police is no longer actively searching for Wyche, but the investigation into her disappearance remains open.

“We remain hopeful that Mrs. Wyche will be found in good health,” police said in a statement. The police will try to find Wyche, 46, if new information arises.

Original: The search for a woman missing since Halloween continues Friday morning along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Md. 197.

U.S. Park police tell WTOP single lanes of the southbound and northbound parkway may be closed intermittently to assist the search and arriving first responders.

Help is coming from Montgomery County and Maryland State Police, U.S. Park maintenance workers and the “Chesapeake Search-Dogs” group.

The missing woman Lisa Wyche, 46, has several medical conditions, does not have her medication and may be disoriented.
