WASHINGTON — Canal Road NW from Fox Hall Road to Arizona Avenue in D.C. will be closed during the day on Saturday and Sunday.

The closure will last from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8.

The District Department of Transportation says it will start emergency work to clean or repair manholes and fix the problem with ponding water at the intersection of Arizona Avenue.

The work will be done, weather permitting.

Drivers should expect delays. Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to use caution in the area.
