All clear at Clarksburg High School after report of weapon on campus

WASHINGTON — Students have been given the all clear at a Montgomery County high school after reports of a student with a weapon on the campus.

Montgomery County Police Department Officer Rick Goodale says police were called to Clarksburg High School in Montgomery County at 10:13 a.m.

Students were told to shelter in place.

Goodale says an assistant principal called police after a student told the principal about the possibility a student had a weapon.Police said that they completed a search and there was no indication of a firearm.
