D.C. police seek missing 12-year-old girl

WASHINGTON — Police in D.C. are asking for help finding a critical missing 12-year-old girl.

According to police, Leidy Guevara was last seen on Oct. 20 in the 100 block of Michigan Avenue Northwest, near 1st Street Northwest.

Guevara is described as being about 5-feet-5-inches to 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing around 124 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater, jeans, black shoes and carrying a black and pink book bag.

Anyone with information about Guevara’s whereabouts should call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099 or 911.
