Larry David praised for SNL Bernie Sanders impression

WASHINGTON– Larry David is receiving rave reviews for his performance as Bernie Sanders on “Saturday Night Live.” The “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star impersonated the independent senator from Vermont, in a lampoon of the first Democratic presidential debate, which also included Alec Baldwin as former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb.

The Oct.17 episode was hosted by Tracy Morgan, his first major performance since his 2014 car accident, and featured a mini “30 Rock” reunion with Morgan’s co-stars Tina Fey, Baldwin and Jane Krakowski.
