Police say around 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 8, a man followed a 46-year-old woman to her home on Drexel Hill Circle. The victim started to open the front door to her home when police say the suspect approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The woman screamed for help, and her brother — who police say was inside the home — came to the front door, prompting the suspect to run away.

The suspect was described as a man in his early 20s, standing 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5050 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 240-773-TIPS (8477).
