Redskins throw out first pitch at Nationals Park

WASHINGTON — The Nats may be out of the playoffs, but there was double D.C. pride on the field at Nationals Park on Sunday.

Members of the Redskins’ defensive line showed up to throw out several  ‘first’ pitches before the game with the Philadelphia Phillies.

 

It may be an unusual sight, but it’s not the first time Redskins players have publicly gotten behind the Nats.

Last week, the defensive line showed up to Landover wearing customized red Nationals jerseys with their respective numbers — and nicknames — on the back.
