JARRETTSVILLE, Md. — The Clear Meadow Farm sunflower field in Jarrettsville is blooming.  The flowers draw thousands of people each year, many of whom photograph themselves amidst the yellow sea, which is a cash crop for the farm.

This was the final weekend to catch them: they are about to be harvested. Note: if you plan to visit next year, remember—don’t cut or pull them up. Check the sign to see what happens to those who do.
