WASHINGTON — A man has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation in Falls Church, Virginia.

Tracy E. Lewis, 48, was detained Wednesday and charged with outstanding Fairfax County warrants for abduction and sexual battery.

On Saturday, police say Lewis sat down beside an 18-year-old girl on a commuter bus near Annandale Road. Following a conversation, police say, Lewis touched the girl inappropriately and prevented her from leaving her seat.

Lewis got off the bus near Lee Highway and Carlin Springs Road, police say. The girl got off at the next bus stop and called police. She didn’t need medical attention.
