WASHINGTON — There’s a champion of WTOP’s Beer Bracket, and the winner is Port City’s Optimal Wit.

All week long, beer-lovers have been voting for their favorite local brews, and on Friday, it came down to the final two: (2) Flying Dog Raging Bitch Belgian-Style IPA vs. (2) Port City Brewing Company Optimal Wit.

The backstory: In honor of DC Beer Week, WTOP Living is holding its first beer bracket. All of the beers are from local D.C., Maryland and Virginia breweries and were picked by WTOP staff.
