EARLIER: WASHINGTON — The Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help finding a Gaithersburg, Maryland woman who has been missing since Wednesday morning.

Dong Yoo, 58, of King James Way, was last seen at about 11 a.m. leaving her apartment. The police say that she routinely walks to the Lakeforest Mall, so that’s where her family figured she was going. But by Wednesday night, they were concerned that she hadn’t come back.

She’s described as Asian; 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and pants with a flowered pattern. The police say she has diminished mental capacity.

If you’ve seen her, or know anything about where she is, the police ask you to call 911.
