7 more arrests made in D.C. prostitution crackdown

WASHINGTON — Seven more arrests were made this week in D.C.’s prostitution crackdown.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, police began a prostitution enforcement operation on July 14. Between Wednesday and Thursday, police made seven arrests, bringing the operation’s total to 85.

The arrests were made in and around Northwest Washington, and the men were charged with solicitation of prostitution.
