WASHINGTON — Police have identified the woman whose body was found near a Fairfax County parking garage Tuesday.

A woman’s body was discovered Tuesday morning lying near a parking garage located in the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard in Herndon, Virginia. On Wednesday, police said they identified the woman as 19-year-old Brooke Lee Lancaster of Ashburn.

After first deeming the death as “suspicious,” police said Wednesday that there is no public safety threat and there was no foul play or suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Police say she suffered “obvious head trauma” and that an autopsy is planned to determine how she died.
