Police: 1 man shot in Ocean City, released from hospital

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in downtown Ocean City.

Police say a 21-year-old man from Glen Burnie was shot in the buttocks early Wednesday after a confrontation near the intersection of 8th Street and Washington Lane. Police say the injured man made his way to a bus stop, where people called 911.

Police say the man was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury and released a short time later.

On the scene, police say they found three bullet casings, drugs and money, but no arrests have been made.
