Vote on ‘Shark Week’ mural for Discovery’s Silver Spring building

WASHINGTON — While Discovery won’t bring back the giant inflatable shark to decorate its downtown Silver Spring building for this year’s “Shark Week,” the media company does want the public’s help deciding how it should decorate the headquarters. “Chompie” was last used in 2012. For 2015’s “Shark Week,” which premieres July 5, Discovery plans to use a massive mural. The mural will decorate the south facade along Colesville Road, reports Bethesda Magazine.

Discovery Communications tweeted out a link to the survey where fans vote on the three designs. They’re called “Love Bites,” “Jawsome” and “I heart Shark.” Click here to take the survey.
