Police seek suspect in sexual assault, kidnapping

WASHINGTON — Police are asking for help identifying a sexual assault and kidnapping suspect after an incident in an alley.

Around 12 a.m. Tuesday, police say a woman was walking along 9th Street Northwest, near Gallatin Street Northwest, when she was forced into the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then drove to a nearby alley and sexually assaulted the woman.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 5-feet tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, and was between 40 and 45 years old. He had a light complexion with short, spiked black hair and was clean-shaven. He was last seen driving an older model four-door car that was pale red.
