Tree falls on Metrobus in D.C.

WASHINGTON — No one was injured when a tree fell on a Metrobus in D.C. Monday evening. Metro Transit Police said a tree fell on a bus near the intersection of 15th and K streets in Northwest at about 7:15 p.m. Police said no one was injured. Metro officials have not released any additional details including the cost of damage to the bus. Storms and high winds are affecting the D.C. area Monday evening, which may have led to the tree falling on the bus.
