Lake Tahoe home featured in ‘The Bodyguard’ for sale (Photos)

WASHINGTON — More than 20 years after the movie hit theaters, a house featured in “The Bodyguard” is on the market for just under $8 million.

The home, known as Tallac House, is located on Lake Tahoe’s Fallen Leaf Lake, where Whitney Houston’s character hid from her stalker, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

The home features 197 feet of lake frontage on 2.74 acres, with five bedrooms, a huge deck and the 76-foot dock which you may remember from a heroic rescue scene involving Keven Costner.

TopTenRealEstateDeals.com also reports that Tallac House was used in “City of Angels,” starring Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage.

This is the first time the home has been for sale since it was built in 1970. It is priced at $7.995 million.
