WASHINGTON — D.C. police officers are looking into a homicide that occurred in Northeast on Sunday.

Shortly before 2 a.m., officers responded to the sounds of gunshots along the 1800 block of North Capitol Street. Once on scene, officers found a man with wounds. He was pronounced dead. The man has been identified as Terrance Wayne Moore, 27, of Northeast.
