Wizards and Rockets look for big lead

UNDATED (AP) — The Washington Wizards hope to benefit from the home court advantage they won by taking the first two games of their NBA playoff series with Toronto. The Raptors, who won the Atlantic Division, opened the series with the home court but lost both games in Toronto. Now, this evening, the Wizards look to take a 3-0 lead knowing that Game 4 will take place in their building this Sunday.

Houston’s Rockets also have a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff with Dallas. Tonight, in the Big D, the Rockets look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in that best-of-seven affair. And keep in mind the home team will be playing without guard Rajon Rondo (RAH’-zhahn RAHN’-doh), who was benched by the team a few days ago.

The final game of the night has the Spurs playing host to the Clippers after they split the opening two games in L.A.

Woman gets other drivers’ speed cam tickets — again and again

WASHINGTON - Miriam Singer's license plate reads "MS" and nothing more. The letters are her initials. But ABC 7 reports Singer -- an 87-year-old Baltimore resident -- has received D.C. speed camera tickets for license plates reading "MS ALF," "MS G" and "MS MAD" in the past four months -- even though she said she hasn't even driven in the District. ABC 7 says speed camera tickets are supposed to be reviewed by a person before being issued. Buel Young, spokesman for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, said it's up to police to double-check every ticket for accuracy before it's sent out. The tickets since have been voided by the Metropolitan Police Department, ABC 7 says. MPD spokeswoman Gwen Crump attributed the mistake to human error. Crump also said some Maryland tags require special handling. Young said he wasn't sure what Crump meant by that. See more from ABC 7 below: WTOP's Ari Ashe contributed to this report.
