Kid overwhelmed when he meets his garbage men heroes, photo goes viral

WASHINGTON — Meeting your heroes can sometimes be a disappointment, but that wasn’t the case for an Ohio 2-year-old who lost it when he met his idols — the neighborhood garbage men. Cincinnati 2-year-old Quincy Kroner loves garbage trucks and awaits the arrival of the garbage men every week, his dad, Ollie Kroner told The Huffington Post. Quincy has been fascinated by the garbage truck “since about the age he could walk,” Ollie told The Huffington Post. Earlier this month when the garbage collectors were running their route by the house, Ollie asked if they would stop to take a picture with their young admirer. The moment proved to be too thrilling for Quincy, who broke down in tears “overwhelmed in the presence of his heroes,” says a Facebook picture Ollie posted on the social network.

Now the photo of the eager tot is going viral. It has been viewed more than 1.2 million times on Imgur and the original Facebook post has been shared more than 350 times.
